- For me, emotions are important in any form of writing. If I am not compelled by emotions to read a literary piece, then I have trouble reading the words at all. It is very hard for me to read fact based books that do not have any emotional value because I am not involved in the writing as I am in a well written fiction book. Being a teenage girl in high school, I feel that my need for emotion in writing is justified. Who knows, maybe my need for emotions will die off in time.--------------------------------------------------------I finally get to vote this year! I am so excited. This is the first chance I get to take part in the government as an adult. Now, my opinion and ideas will be considered on a larger scale. I need to make sure that I get registered so that I can take part in this historical election. In the past year I have been trying to inform myself on what is happening in the election so that when the time comes I am well informed and can make my voice count.
